Emboss Resist with Colorburst

March 2, 2017

Thanks for coming by today.  I created this card for my grandma’s birthday. First I heat embossed Penny Black’s Allover Pattern in white onto watercolor cardstock.  Then I misted my panel with water (mixed with Perfect Pearls), and sprinkled Pthalo Green and Ultramarine Blue Colorburst watercolor powder over the whole page.  I die cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die from Simon Says Stamp, and adhered it to my card base with tape runner.  Finally, I heat embossed my sentiment (from Hero Arts) in white onto turquoise cardstock and attached it to my panel with foam tape.  A few Clear Droplets from Pretty Pink Posh completed my card.  Thanks for looking!

I love the intensity of Colorburst, and it takes no effort on my part!  Have you tried Colorburst?  Let me know in the comments, and I’ll be back soon.
